Mèo Rừng Catimor
This coffee comes from the Sơn La province in Northwestern
Việt Nam, a region known for their Arabica cultivation about 300 km's from the capital of Hà Nội.
Since a lot of Vietnamese coffee beans come from coffee collectives, where a number of smallholder farms band together to process their coffee beans at a local mill, producers that provide these beans for international buying need to name their offerings with a special name to have them stand out to buyers. The producer that provided these beans named "Mèo Rừng", named after the "Leopard Cats" that are common within the jungles in this region.
This coffee is a great daily driver and is suitable with all brew-types - whether your morning routine is a nice pour-over, drip, french press or espresso-based drink, at a nice medium roast, this coffee will be uncontroversial with notes of sweet red apple, brown sugar, and a little bit of orange zest.
